Angelika Film Center – The Lowdown

With the shuttering of Sunshine Cinema in the Lower East Side in January, the Angelika remains one of the few surviving indie art houses in Manhattan. Opened in 1989 in Soho, the cultural mainstay is a beloved neighborhood cornerstone.
