INSPIRED BY: The competing demands of keeping fashion fun yet sustainable, designer Nicole Miller broadened her scope to ponder the concerns of the modern-day female, which transpired into a show that was equal parts ‘90s grunge and downtown party girl.
POP-CULTURE NOD: Paris Jackson grabbing brunch in West Hollywood after letting her hair down at the Republic Records after party following the Grammys in L.A.
WEAR IT TO: Shop for Dr. Martens in Shoreditch before grabbing a cocktail in the tiny low-lit basement speakeasy, Happiness Forgets, in Hoxton Square.
FIRST READ: While at times straying into the Nirvana-era, ‘90s-grunge aesthetic via leather jackets with punk rock patches, tie-dyed tights and animal-print faux-fur coats, Miller combined the lineup of wearable separates with ladylike accents, including classic blazers, sequined cashmere sweaters, and astrology prints on silk shift dresses with front ties.
BEST LOOK: A sheer black button-down featuring beaded embellishments, paired with drawstring leather pants and strappy heels with an evil-eye symbol.
EYE-CATCHING ACCENTS: Layered silver necklaces and vintage cross drop earrings, stacked combat boots, and clashing prints on flirty minis worn under athletic puffer jackets.
