Theory NYFW F/W19 – Review
INSPIRED BY: Director Pier Paolo Pasolini’s 1969 film, Teorema. Designer Francesco Fucci cited the desire to create a romantic collection in line with the brand’s laid-back aesthetic its clientele clamors for.
POP-CULTURE NOD:Â Kate Winslet strolling through Old Spitalfields Market after selling the rights to her romantic period drama, Ammonite, in which she costars with Saoirse Ronan.
WEAR IT TO:Â Stroll around the Victorian walled garden at Babington House in Somerset in the U.K., before perching on a plaid rug to watch an impromptu game on the adjacent cricket pitch.
FIRST READ:Â Elegant woolen coats with detachable faux-fur hoods, classic suiting with edgy zipper detail, and button-down shirts worn as belts around the torso. Fucci kept looks streamlined and modern in delivered a series of timeless separates sure to appeal to brand devotees.
