TOP INSTA LOOK: Zooming in on any of the bucketful of celebrities lining the front row while capturing a glimpse of fall-friendly tweed, herringbone, patterned fur or painted leather in the forefront.

BEHIND THE SCENES: The designer took over the former Four Seasons restaurant in the Seagram Building to host a bevy of celebrities and style icons to showcase his direct-to-consumer collection for fall. Soul singer Leon Bridges performed following the show’s dramatic close.

OFF PROBATION: A floor-length figure-hugging gown in black, white and red sequins, perfect for Giuliana Rancic on the red carpet while interviewing the brightest in La La Land at the Oscars on Feb.26, 2017.

GOOD BEHAVIOUR BOND: A color-blocked fur coat worn over leather pencil skirt and knee-high boots, the key focus throughout being on smart layering for fall. Another key look was a silver sequin turtleneck, worn with a grey, feathery fringed skirt.

INSPIRED BY: Lust, desire and the sex appeal of Hollywood glamor in its heyday. Think Marilyn Monroe reimagined as Sophia Vergara at the Emmys.

POP CULTURE-NOD: Kim Kardashian on a five-day juice cleanse ahead of her starring cameo in the modern-day remake of old Hollywood shoulder pad drama Dynasty.

WEAR IT TO: Friday night at the Chateau Marmont, where the results of your two-hour hair and makeup glam squad are certain to have maximum impact while you sip your jalapeno margarita in full view of the bar’s adoring crowd, who are all swapping hushed whispers about which movie star you are that they can’t quite put their finger on.

OVERHEARD COURTSIDE: “I just don’t know if this see-now-buy-now trend will catch on with people watching at home.”

SPOTTED: Julienne Moore, Tom Hanks, Alicia Keys, Uma Thurman, Baz Lurhman, Naomi Campbell, Jon Hamm.

COLOR WHEEL: Tangerine, emerald, red, white and black fur, glitzy sequins, leopard print, 70s-inspired prints in green, orange and camouflage.

THE DOCKET: Ford is among the spate of designers to embrace the in-season model, which is expected to capitalize on the power of social media to convert a consumer’s “like” to “buy”. The star power in the room transferred to the catwalk via a lineup of looks that screamed vampy vixen through Ford’s strength in making glamorous a classy affair.
