INSPIRED BY: “F***ing Fabulous,” the name of designer Tom Ford’s latest fragrance, and the brand’s signature aesthetic an ostentatiously glamorous lifestyle. The Amory was transformed to resemble Philadelphia’s iconic Rodin Museum, while guests were sprayed with the scent as they entered the venue.
POP-CULTURE NOD: Supermodel Elle Macpherson lounging in the sun aboard billionaire Prince Al Waleed’s 282-foot yacht Kingdom 5 in between red-carpet runs at the Cannes Film Festival.
WEAR IT TO: Elon Musk’s fundraising kick-off party for the next phase of SpaceX and the unveiling of top-secret tidbits about the company’s new Mars rocket.
FIRST READ: 90’s-style Grecian gowns, a glitzy take on athletic suiting, and high-cut one-piece swimsuits worn with oversized blazers and slouchy pants rounded out the wearable collection, which stayed true to Ford’s greatest hits – catering to the female CEO with the sartorial smarts to rival any street-style icon.
