INSPIRED BY: Adding an ounce of flair to the sometimes-stagnant athleisure-wear market, labels P.E Nation, B.O.D By Finch, Koral, and Jasmine Alexa joined forces in the collaborative show, which saw P.E. Nation launch its debut menswear collection and model Rachel Finch walk the runway on the launch of her activewear line.
POP-CULTURE NOD: Gigi Hadid grabbing a non-fat kale smoothie after an intense boxing session at Gotham Gym in the West Village.
WEAR IT TO: A Beyoncercise Dance Cardio & Sculpt Express at Banana Skirt Productions at Pearl Studios in Midtown, before hiring a car and heading upstate to glamp in a Scandanavian-inspired A-Frame Lushna cabin at Eastwind in the Catskills.
FIRST READ: Design duo Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning featured bumbags worn as body armor, graphic prints on sweatshirts and Adidas-style track pants as part of their maiden men’s line, while Jasmine Alexa channeled the desire to transition effortlessly from the gym to happy hour via a series of looks designed to hide any evidence of a sweat session once your feet hit the sidewalk. Designers stuck with a nautical and neutral palette, bucking the Lululemon-esque ice-cream sorbet trend.
BEST LOOK: A Jasmine Alexa white tank with black piping, teamed with matching short-shorts and styled with a black patent gym bag, slides and treadmill-friendly gold hoop earrings.
EYE-CATCHING ACCENTS: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Lisa Rinna’s daughter, Delilah Belle, opening Koral’s show in a rust and navy anorak and Reef-style Velcro sandals.
