INSPIRED BY: Designer Hanako Maeda paid homage to the girls of 1920’s Tokyo, toying with the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures.
POP-CULTURE NOD: Keira Knightley touring the local botanical gardens while taking a break from her gig on the upcoming remake of The English Patient.
WEAR IT TO: Afternoon Tea at Harrods’ Georgian Restaurant with the unemployed cast of Made in Chelsea.
FIRST READ: 80’s power broker with a Charlie’s Angels’ feminine edge. Layered knit dresses, high-waisted suit pants, ruffled scarf skirts and pleated paneling – think Hugo Boss with a hint of DKNY-downtown cool.
BEST LOOK: A grey handkerchief asymmetrical strappy dress, worn with a dusty pink fur jacket and styled with coffee over-the-knee suede boots.
EYE-CATCHING ACCENTS: Oversized mismatched statement earrings and leather clutches in red wine and taupe.
