INSPIRED BY: Designer Hanako Maeda’s recent trip to Hong Kong’s Soho neighborhood, notably the ongoing gentrification of the hipster location with its fusion of Eastern and Western cultures.
POP-CULTURE NOD: Keira Knightley touring the local botanical gardens while taking a break from her gig on the upcoming remake of The English Patient.
WEAR IT TO: Afternoon Tea at Harrods Georgian Restaurant with the unemployed cast of Made in Chelsea.
FIRST READ: 70’s Mod Squad with a Charlie’s Angels edge. Twisted bustiers, high-waisted ruched suit pants, ruffled scarf skirts and pleated paneling – think Hugo Boss with a hint of DKNY-downtown cool.
