INSPIRED BY: Designer Alice McCall’s ode to the perennial party girl – the collection sourced trends from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s in a disco-themed mashup that focused on fun and flirty frocks just as suited for a garden party as a night at Studio 54.
POP-CULTURE NOD: Chloe Grace Moretz holding hands with her mystery beau at the Veuve Cliquot Polo Classic at Liberty State Park. Think Mad Men’s Sally Draper all-grown-up, channeling Twiggy in her heyday.
WEAR IT TO: Your pre-Coachella DJ gig at the Ace Hotel and Swim Club in Palm Springs, before putting on your flower crown and rocking out to Queen Bey.
FIRST READ: McCall stayed true to her signature pretty, feminine aesthetic, hovering between bohemian and more tailored looks, with a focus on playful eclecticism. The popping color palette screamed the fashion equivalent of a Baked by Melissa cupcake store.
