INSPIRED BY: The tension between classic Italian tailoring and the Japanese avant-garde aesthetic.
POP-CULTURE NOD: The daytime wardrobe of a former East-London club kid forced to get a day job after his glow-stick business venture flopped.

FIRST READ: A favorite among the fashion crowd for its daring cuts and electric color palette, Area took a bold new direction this season, venturing into corporate wear with a focus on dramatic accessories.
BEST LOOK: A white silk shirt with red wine detailing, worn with an asymmetrical tomato pencil skirt, pointed flats and a red fedora.
EYE-CATCHING ACCENTS: Fringed detailing, mismatched earrings and shoes with faux fur accents. Think Catch Me if You Can meets Studio 54.
