INSPIRED BY: The breezy and flirty vibe of designers’ Laura Vassar and Kris Brock’s hometown of Newport Beach, California.
POP-CULTURE NOD: Snow White-meets-Little Red Riding Hood on an acid trip after tumbling down the rabbit’s hole into an enchanted garden party.
WEAR IT TO: Cocktails at Fig & Olive with pal Lauren Conrad after an exhausting day in the surf.
FIRST READ: Ruffles, feminine ruching and soft florals combined to deliver a show heavy on romance and gowns catered to an evening on the town and the walk-of-shame the morning after. Silk slips, tiered skirts and sheer lace floor-length frocks channeled the brand’s raw and edgy vibe.
BEST LOOK: A puffed-sleeve, off-the-shoulder floral dress with lace detailing, styled with a picnic-ready straw bag and a wrist corsage.
EYE-CATCHING ACCENTS: The models wore flat, knee-high gladiator sandals and stomped on a bed of green leafy foliage, which played to the show’s unraveled and ladylike feel.
