Bronx and Banco NYFW S/S22 – Review

INSPIRED BY: Greek mythology and feminine prowess, Australian designer Natalie DeBanco’s paid homage to the arid outback in her latest collection, which featured an abundance of her signature vampy gowns. 
POP-CULTURE NOD: Alicia Vikander as Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft grabbing cocktails with Khloe Kardashian at Soho House LA. 
WEAR IT TO: Rub shoulders with the glitterati under the domed caverns at Paul’s Casablanca in Soho. 
FIRST READ: Skin was key in this racy collection, which centered on strategic cutouts on bodycon dresses with rope and bandage detail, while voluminous trains on cocktail gowns and strapless looks with flyaway detail added a nighttime feel to the mix. 
BEST LOOK:A layered asymmetrical top in crepe in beige, styled with thigh-high lace-up sandals, cross drop earrings and an oversized hessian tote. 
EYE-CATCHING ACCENTS: Handmade fedoras with feather detail, Grecian sandals, stacked chain bracelets and Longhorn skull necklaces.
