INSPIRED BY: The return of “black tie required” to the invitation rotation, designer Wes Gordon echoed designers’ expectations of an uptick in special occasion dressing in the post-pandemic world.

FIRST READ: Staged in the impressive surrounds of art gallery Salon 94’s newest outpost uptown, Gordon treated guests to a bonanza of signature party frocks and cocktail gowns with all of the brand’s trademark trimmings: think oversized bows, polka dots, sequin detail, and beaded applique on organza ruffles.
