INSPIRED BY: Designer Christian Cowan’s love for delivering an eclectic mix of streetwear and evening looks in an explosion of neon hues intended to delight his most avid front-row brand devotees, many whom are themselves stars of the silver screen. Think the dream wardrobe of a Shoreditch club kid.
POP-CULTURE NOD: Cardi B’s revolving wardrobe of potential options for the cover of her latest CD, shot on a 20-foot yacht off the shorts of Ibiza.
WEAR IT TO: Rub shoulders with Post Malone and Lorde at the Republic Records Mega Estate party by Dream Hotels on weekend one of Coachella.
FIRST READ: The perennial entertainer responsible for dressing other entertainers, Cowan served up a series of popping frocks and circus-inspired looks with feather and ruffled tulle accents, while bodycon mini dresses with racing-print trains and leather coats dipped in cascading sequins played to the show’s “club kid on an acid trip” vibe.
