INSPIRED BY: A return to designer Claudia Li’s fashion roots, celebrating her four years in the business.
POP-CULTURE NOD: Keira Knightley hosting an afternoon tea-themed baby shower for her bestie at The Botanist in Richmond.
WEAR IT TO: The opening of an emerging-designer showcase at mid-size contemporary art space and fixture on the Chelsea scene, the Andrew Kreps Gallery.
FIRST READ: Li featured an oversized lily motif on peach silk separates and ladylike cocktail gowns with bow neckties, while leather jackets and sparkly double-breasted coats with Mongolian wool accents added a dose of downtown edge to the mix.
BEST LOOK: A sheer black tank featuring sequin embellishments, teamed with a metallic blue pleated skirt and knee-high leather boots.
