INSPIRED BY: Designer Cong Tri’s ambition of bringing red carpet-ready looks to all his customers, allowing all women to have their paparazzi moment in the sun.
POP-CULTURE NOD: Lady Gaga taking a break from her rotation of customized Marc Jacobs frocks and opting for a jaw-dropping white gown at the upcoming 91st Academy Awards to root for A Star is Born.
WEAR IT TO: The black-tie Spring Gala in London’s Covent Garden for VIP access to a twilight performance by The Royal Opera and The Royal Ballet.
FIRST READ: Princess-inspired cocktail gowns in layered tulle and chiffon, sequined column dresses with vampy plunging necklines, and edgy strapless frocks with oversized bow detail and crystal embellishments. Think every stylist’s dream wardrobe ahead of presenting to their fussiest A-list client.
BEST LOOK: A bridal-white floor-length gown featuring floaty front detail and balloon sleeves. Also key was a metallic gold, Herve Leger-style bandage dress with an oversized bow and paired with strappy gold heels.
