Custo Barcelona’s spring/summer 2015 offering played out like the wardrobe of a 30-something former Ibiza candy raver who has since graduated to a tranquil noise-controlled village in Mallorca.

Staying true to the label’s sex-appeal factor were barely there bikinis, in addition to cutouts and keyholes in mini dresses and sheer resort wear cover-ups.

The ever vibrant, entirely eclectic label evidently took a sedative this season, with the Barcelona-based label offering a series of sophisticated, elegant Aztec-inspired looks with tribal motifs in subdued hues.

Perfect for the fashionista setting off on a trek at the Mayan ruins, designer Custo Delmau offered collarless V-neck jackets, trousers, miniskirts and vests that mixed in metallic embroidery, beading and Aztec-inspired tribal prints.

Standout looks including the opening number, which teamed a lace embroidery strapless dress with matching bolero glammed up with a metallic glaze. Other crowd pleasers were part of the designer’s departure from his provocative play with color – a strapless sheer strapless dress with a black bandeau and black and white printed jacket and a cute crop top and shorts look with a structured black blazer.

Adding to the Mediterranean beachside vibe was the show’s color palette, which included mint green, soft pinks, lemon sorbet yellows and baby boy blues.

Dresses, swimsuits and sheer chiffon overlays were paired with mini shorts and intimates which reflected the label’s signature eccentric vibe.

The designer toyed with delicate detailing and silhouettes to vamp up the collections sensual theme through looks such as a babydoll mini, which functioned as a geometric base for cropped tops and vests.

For men, a mint green trousers, t-shirt and jacket combination provided a classy Casablanca-inspired look in the collection’s otherwise more subdued offering.

Swimsuits remained key in Custo’s lineup, which included a string of lace embroidered one and two-piece styles with sexy cutouts, perfect for relaxing poolside at the villa with the latest Vogue.

Masterfully engineered jacquards and sheer overlays were featured in an array of textures, delivering a range of pieces that will see facilitate you from morning trek to evening happy hour in the VIP section.

One thing Custo Barcelona’s spring/summer collection will most certainly not do is protect you from the Mexican (or downtown New York) sun.

But there’s SPF-free tanning oil for that.
