Derek Lam NYFW F/W19 – Review
INSPIRED BY: The desire to deliver a lineup of masterfully-tailored separates with a utilitarian flair. Designer Derek Lam opted out of the traditional runway or presentation format in favor of hosting a series of private appointments to showcase his fall collection.

BEST LOOK: A linen trapeze jacket in khaki and brown, featuring oversized high pockets and fold-over neck detail, teamed with ivory pants and a large shopper tote.
EYE-CATCHING ACCENTS: 70’s-inspired platform heels, the designer’s signature shield sunglasses, silk neckties with a geometric print, and a subtle nod to sportswear via slouchy pants with contrasting side panels.
