INSPIRED BY: Factory workers from World War I and II and the female coal miners of the 19th century. Think the sort of threads you’d pack for a six-month stint at Rio Tinto’s expansion project at the Oyu Tolgoi copper mine in Mongolia.

FIRST READ: Hearst paid homage to the utilitarian uniform through neutral trench coats, relaxed suiting and wrap dresses, which were featured in an jewel-tone color palette with an earthy vibe, while fringed coats and a newspaper-print dress elevated the collection from daytime tourist to nighttime with the locals.
BEST LOOK: A Cookie Monster-esque sleeveless cape with a front side knot, styled over a lilac silk dress, matching knee-high flat boots and an equestrian-inspired riding cap.
