TOP INSTA LOOK: A one-shouldered purple dress with concertina detailing and sheer trailing panels, styled with a Statue of Liberty-inspired headpiece, making a subtle nod to the current U.S. political climate.

BEHIND THE SCENES: Ever the showman, designer Rio Uribe kicked off the vibrant show with a routine by an all-girl dance crew in red spandex and thigh-high boots grooving to Beyonce’.

OFF PROBATION: A green fringed and mesh layered hoodie, worn with matching shorts, high-top socks, pink Chinatown slides and a purple beret – think the modern-day club kid dressed for an all-night rave at Space Ibiza uptown.

GOOD BEHAVIOUR BOND: A floral print strappy fringed slip dress with purple fringed detailing, styled over a matching print skirt and worn over a logoed oversized hoodie with knee-high socks and yellow Chinatown flats.

INSPIRED BY: The roaring Twenties, jazz-inspired flapper culture and the notion of bucking conventional society norms – think the modern-day Gatsby refusing to don a navy pinstripe suit on his first day as Head of Creative Services at Goldman Sachs.

POP CULTURE-NOD: Brand devotee Jaden Smith’s wardrobe anywhere, anytime, locked to the arm of girlfriend Sarah Snyder.

WEAR IT TO: This Halloween’s party at Harlem’s legendary jazz hotspot Cotton Club, where you flash your modern interpretation on the flapper trend among the borough’s slickest gangsters while misbehaving over Manhattans and Gin Rickys.

OVERHEARD COURTSIDE: “I miss the theatrics of show’s like this during Fashion Week – how hilarious are the MC’s?”

SPOTTED: Jaden Smith, Sarah Snyder, Lynn Yaeger, Whoopi Goldberg, Jerzey Dean, Alex Martin, Mickey Boardman, Hamish Bowles, Chris Lavish, Steven Kolb, Tinashe, Dej Loaf, Becca McCharen, Christine Tran,

COLOR WHEEL: Purple, emerald green, orange, sunshine yellow, black, mint, floral print.

THE DOCKET: Uribe stayed true to the label’s focus on gender-bending fluidity and unisex looks through a series of fringed, floral, lace and mesh looks with a distinctive sporty vibe, leaving confused attendees ironically please with the collections ability to transition from man to woman, boardroom to happy hour and the track to the urban jungle.
