TOP INSTA LOOK: Gold high-top sneakers gave the show an edgy, Kanye-inspired vibe, adding immediate street cred to the collection, which played out in front of a giant, industrial fan. Expect a high-cut bikini to soon populate Kylie Jenner’s Instagram feed, an update on her fresh butt implants and all.
BEHIND THE SCENES: Models being kitted out in edgy gothic-style black lips and heavily drawn-on eyebrows as final grooming efforts were applied on looks that left as little to the imagination as the cost of Khloe Kardashian’s latest exercise efforts.
OFF PROBATION: A plunging kaftan in sunburnt orange, aqua, charcoal and orange sorbet in a playful nineties party print that will see you respectfully covered up during your next summer soiree pool party at your sister-in-law’s McMansion in East Hampton.
GOOD BEHAVIOUR BOND: A high-neck (and very high-rise) eighties one piece in the same playful print, worn with a gold leg cuff and high-top sneakers. Also key was a knotted bandeau bikini top and high-waisted bottoms, worn with a clear mini skirt with a large zipper down the front, perfect for thwarting the suggested dress code at the Soho House pool bar. Activewear featured hoodies, sweaters and lycra pants in palm frond prints in green, black and purple, while models in bikini bottoms with figure-hugging fishnet cover-up jumpsuits over the top offered a sexy alternative for those with a higher risk appetite.
INSPIRED BY: The Australian husband and wife due designer team’s favorite trends from the nineties and prints included famed zebra look. Cue the obvious Baywatch-style swimsuit reference.
POP CULTURE-NOD: Think Pamela Anderson in her heyday, with a dose of Courtney Love rock-and-roll risqué attitude and Lady Gaga theatrical sensibility mixed in to up the sex appeal.
WEAR IT TO: The Wynne Hotel Last Vegas’ adults-only Encore Beach Club, a 60,000-square-foot complex with shipped in sand, three tiered pools and 40-foot palm trees, where you ditch your private cabana to sunbathe European-style (ahem, topless) on Memorial Day in a figure-hugging fishnet number and a pair of barely-there bikini bottoms.
OVERHEARD COURTSIDE: “How often do you think you’d have to go to the salon to pull that number off?” – on the high-rise swimsuits and the maintenance dollar required to rock them.

COLOR WHEEL: White with gold detailing, eighties and nineties-inspired prints, leopard and palm frond jungle prints in green and purple, sunburnt orange, aqua, charcoal and lilac.
THE DOCKET: We Are Handsome delivered a series of leisure, resort and swimwear inspired by the eighties in a ghetto fabulous mashup of looks that resembled Zimmerman’s little sister gone rogue after having watched The Craft amid a recent Neve Campbell fan crush. Racy fishnet jumpsuits, plunging necklines and miniscule bikinis were mingled with 80’s and 90’s-inspired throwbacks – such as a Baywatch-style bikini with a waist-hugging bright orange belt – set to convert even the most resolute tomboy on the sands of Bondi next season.
