INSPIRED BY: French couturier Madame Grès and her legendary mastery of pleating, tucking and fluting materials into a shape flattering to the body.

WEAR IT TO: Your job interview for a private investigator gig at a private equity fund in the Caymen Islands. Think upscale mechanic meets adult’s-only candy-striper.
FIRST READ: Striped dresses with asymmetrical detailing and cheeky cutouts, ruched-neck dresses and nature-inspired prints matched Wu’s focus on smart tailoring and creating wearable looks for the corporate fashion folk.
BEST LOOK: An apricot trench, worn open over a cropped striped shirt and matching suit pants, styled with white flats.
EYE-CATCHING ACCENTS: Military green shadow from Maybelline’s Urban Jungle palette dabbed on the outer creases of models’ lids to help create the part raver-punk vibe. The bright floral set design amped-up the show’s feminine vibe, with some guests commenting on the looks they’d already shortlisted to their wardrobe wishlists for spring.
