THE DOCKET: Lavishly dramatic embellished gowns with layered trailing hemlines and flirty floral numbers filled out the designer’s latest collection, which featured enough ethereal silk dresses to make you want to befriend every woman on your Facebook engaged to be married next spring. And just like that, Pinterest has made a quick comeback. #weddinginspo.
TOP INSTA LOOK: Featured throughout were decorations inspired by the mosaics of L.A.’s Watts Towers, created using a combination of lace, cotton balls, mirrors rope and beading to adorn demi-couture evening gowns with flirty lingerie detailing and feminine finishes.
BEHIND THE SCENES: Creative director Thomas Osborn for Catwalk by TIGI created subtle texture to keep looks undone, adding hair wraps for a modern twist, perfect for the global gypsy in search of her soul mate.
OFF PROBATION: A sheer high-neck, full-sleeve floor-length gown with white lace detailing and layered ruffle skirt, sure to make every single gent attending your big day wishing you weren’t about to be taken off the market.
GOOD BEHAVIOR BOND: A cream V-neck diagonally cut mini dress with a floor-grazing billowy train, worn under an embellished jacket and styled with a beaded choker and drop-down earrings.
