INSPIRED BY: 19th century art nouveau stylistic details, namely the movement’s decorative ornamental embellishments and winding motifs. Sisters Lizzie and Georgie Renkart employed floral prints and an ode to nature, utilizing earthy tones to create a garden party-ready collection.
POP-CULTURE NOD: Daisy Buchanan taking a break from the weight of her husband’s infidelities to have a flutter on the ponies in the VIP tent at The Kentucky Derby.
WEAR IT TO: Watch Lana Del Ray and her signature bouffant perform 13 songs against a grainy 8 mm vintage projector and towering palm trees at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles – BYO flower crown.
FIRST READ: Floaty cover-ups and frilly one-shoulder cocktail frocks channeled the show’s bohemian, Byron Bay vibe, while stitched-up bodices, bodycon mini dresses and crop tops paired with flared flamingo skirts added a dose of flirtatious spunk to the girly lineup. Think the wardrobe of a perpetual bridesmaid always catching the bouquet.
