Moschino NYFW S/S22 – Review

INSPIRED BY: Children’s toys and nursery rhymes, designer Jeremy Scott delivered a playful collection that served up a dose of much-needed nostalgia for less turbulent times.

WEAR IT TO:
Your babysitting gig for a wealthy investment banker in his three-story townhouse on the Upper East Side.
FIRST READ:
Always tongue-in-cheek, Scott’s latest lineup featured a mix of strapless mini dresses with cartoon prints and scalloped hemlines, ladylike 50’s-inspired jackets with matching button-down skirts, and red carpet frocks with trains and ostrich feather accents.
BEST LOOK:
Gigi Hadid in a one-shoulder bodycon dress covered in a mashup of elephants, bees, cats and stars, styled with platform yellow shoes and an oversized baby bottle.
EYE-CATCHING ACCENTS:
Safety pin and key earrings in bubblegum hues, leather wristlet gloves, ostrich feather shrugs, love heart-shaped sunglasses, and plastic alphabet shapes on belts and novelty clutches.
OVERHEARD COURTSIDE:
“I feel like we could have used a tent today with the rain.”
