INSPIRED BY: A tear from the dress code playbook of ethnoreligious group, the Hutterites. Think aprons, blouses and layered prints, or Little House on the Prairie given a downtown reboot.
POP-CULTURE NOD: Victoria’s Secret Angel Romee Strijd flashing her derriere in a pair of denim chaps as part of a cowboy-themed shoot in Sedona.
WEAR IT TO: Hop behind the wheel of your Enterprise Rent-A-Car pickup truck to commence stage one of your grand plan to drive across the United States in under ten days, stopping along the way to check-out the 14th Annual Classic Sports Racing Group Charity Challenge at the Sonoma Raceway.
FIRST READ: Deconstructed dresses featuring a mashup of plaid, check and floral prints were followed by punk-rock tees, tartan skirts and slouchy denim boots in an overt nod to the brand’s grungy roots, while cowboy bandanas and leather aprons played to the collection’s 70’s Western vibe.
BEST LOOK: A yellow dress with a blue-and-white gingham hem, worn under a sleeveless woolen coat with vintage buttons and a John Deer hat.
