Rag & Bone NYFW S/S19 – Review

INSPIRED BY: The ability to create more wearable separates by bypassing the traditional runway show option, designer Marcus Wainwright focused on the brand’s core clientele – the starts of the streetstyle world.
POP-CULTURE NOD: Kendall Jenner grabbing a bite to eat between shows at Mexican hot spot Tijuana Picnic on Essex Street in the Lower East Side.
WEAR IT TO: Your first day of classes as an English major at NYU followed by welcome half-price drinks at Mother’s Ruin in Nolita.
FIRST READ: From polished, pinstripe blazers, to khaki drawstring anoraks and a crimson trench, Wainwright catered to the urban New Yorker, while delivering a string of denim pieces able to be worn year-round.
BEST LOOK: A white pinafore-style midi dress, worn with chunky snakeskin boots.
EYE-CATCHING ACCENTS: Logoed sweats, a leather bum bag with a fringed zipper, suede knee-high boots.
COLOR WHEEL: Mustard, camel, powder blue, maroon, khaki, navy, red, cream.
