Rebecca Taylor NYFW S/S19 – Review
INSPIRED BY: American photographer Deborah Turbeville’s images from the 70’s and designer Rebecca Taylor’s time in Europe as a child. Also key was Parisian culture, where Taylor has recently relocated to with her family.
POP-CULTURE NOD:Â Taylor Swift on a day-trip around Beverly Hills perusing new investment properties after offloading her mid-century styled home for $2.65 million.
WEAR IT TO: A study session at the New York Public Library before grabbing sundowner drinks at the Southwest Porch at Bryant Park.
FIRST READ: Femininity was key in the lightweight and breezy collection, which featured the designer’s signature frilly dresses, scalloped suiting and cotton sun dresses in floral prints.
BEST LOOK: A leopard print midi dress featuring multiple knots at the front and strategic cutouts, paired with tribal-inspired sandals.
COLOR WHEEL:Â Crimson, powder blue, white, rust, dusty pink, teal, black.
