Sachin & Babi NYFW F/W19 – Review

INSPIRED BY: Design duo Sachin and Babi Ahluwalia’s intense focus on evolving in line with the brand’s core clientele: the modern female in demand of ladylike dressing with a dose of glam.
POP-CULTURE NOD: Mindy Kailing dropping by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to chat about her upcoming series on Netflix.
WEAR IT TO: Ring in the new year with a glass of Krug Champagne at the Palm Court’s Dynasty-themed ‘80s ball at The Plaza Hotel.
FIRST READ: Glitzy sequin tops and party frocks, tailored shirts with front ties, and satin bias dresses capable of being dressed up or down with some jewelry and a pair of heels.
BEST LOOK: A strapless dress covered in sequin embellishments in rainbow hues. Also key was a black figure-hugging gown with an ivory shoulder piece with crystal detail.
