INSPIRED BY: The Elvis ’68 Comeback Special, which marked the icon’s return to live performance after several years in the movie biz. The reference wasn’t literal, however, instead playing out like a ode to the trademark luxe, jewel-tone looks much-love by the brand’s clientele.
POP-CULTURE NOD: Andy Sachs revealing her makeover look to beau Nate in the Meatpacking District after successfully delivering “the book.”
WEAR IT TO: Look incognito while on the clock as a Page Six reporter at celebrity hangout The Spotted Pig, before clocking out and heading for cocktails at Tao.
FIRST READ: Sequin jumpsuits and chromatic looks in head-to-toe silk walked in line with the brand’s signature vampy aesthetic, while cashmere sweaters with elongated sleeves, paired with snake-print midi skirts, added a daywear element to the predominantly after-dark mix.
BEST LOOK: A sage fur coat, styled over a mint romper, cinched at the waist with a ‘70s disco belt, paired with a silk neck tie and matching suede heels.
