INSPIRED BY: Travel, culture and art, designer Helen O’Conner cited Peter Weir’s Picnic at Hanging Rock and her childhood memories of Victoria’s Mount Macdeon as key forces behind her Resort ‘Fable’ collection.
POP-CULTURE NOD: Natalie Dormer as Mrs. Appleyard in Amazon’s six-part remake of the Australian classic, dusting off her dancing shoes for a night of dancing to deep house at Brown Alley in Melbourne.
WEAR IT TO: Hip-hop mogul Diddy’s relaunch of his 1998 iconic Labor Day summer White Party in East Hampton, before changing your color palette and following the series’ reboot to St. Tropez and Beverly Hills.
