Ulla Johnson NYFW S/S19 – Review
INSPIRED BY: The notion of artisanal craftwork, namely the Herero tribeswomen of Namibia and the Gee’s Bend quiltmakers of Alabama. Staged in the iconic Williamsburgh Savings Bank, guests were treated to a performance by Brooklyn-based musician Serpentwithfeet.

WEAR IT TO: Celebrate the end of summer under the stars by The Regent Firepit over an IPA while ogling wayward Bridgeport trust fund kids at Gurney’s Montauk.
FIRST READ: Channeling the brand’s bohemian, beachy aesthetic, designer Johnson delivered an array of frilly frocks in floral prints, as well as wearable separates in tribal motifs. Think Picnic at Hanging Rock-meets-Little Women: The Mediterranean Edition.
